Okc restaurant chain is coming to Nashville, according to an announcement from the company’s founders and executives

GATLINBURG, Tenn.

— Okc Restaurant Group is planning to open its first Nashville restaurant soon in a former hotel that once served as a nightclub, according a news release from the restaurant group’s founders.

The restaurant group plans to open the eatery in the former Lubbock Hotel in a space called the Lubbocks Lounge in 2021.

It will feature a menu of “classic American cuisine” including chicken, turkey, pork and beef ribs, according the release.

A new restaurant would be built next door.

The Lubbons Lounge has been a popular location for Okc Restaurants since it opened in October 2016.

It was a nightclub and nightclub venue for decades, including the infamous Lubboc nightclub that hosted acts like the Strokes and the Talking Heads.

It closed in 2019 after closing in 2018.

A spokesperson for Okci Restaurants, the company that operates the Lighthouse Lounge, confirmed the restaurant will be open in 2021 and said it is looking for new restaurants to open in the area.
