Kansas City, Kansas (Reuters) – The owners of a popular Indian restaurant in Kansas have launched a gluten-free menu with the goal of becoming a global phenomenon.
The Indian Restaurant Association of America said on Monday that it had partnered with the Indian restaurant chain Tata Dosa to create a menu of traditional Indian dishes and dishes inspired by India’s heritage and traditions.
The menu, dubbed ‘Glut Free India’, is the second to launch with Tata Dosas menu, which includes traditional Indian cuisine and also includes some gluten free items.
The owners say it’s a “sophisticated” menu and are aiming for “an authentic India experience”.

The restaurant group plans to open the eatery in the former Lubbock Hotel in a space called the Lubbocks Lounge in 2021.
It will feature a menu of “classic American cuisine” including chicken, turkey, pork and beef ribs, according the release.
A new restaurant would be built next door.
The Lubbons Lounge has been a popular location for Okc Restaurants since it opened in October 2016.
It was a nightclub and nightclub venue for decades, including the infamous Lubboc nightclub that hosted acts like the Strokes and the Talking Heads.
It closed in 2019 after closing in 2018.
A spokesperson for Okci Restaurants, the company that operates the Lighthouse Lounge, confirmed the restaurant will be open in 2021 and said it is looking for new restaurants to open in the area.
